We recently developed this identity for the Tiler Training
School. It's a new training facility, as the descriptive name says offering
qualifications and courses for the tiling trade.
They wanted it to appear more scholastic than tiling trade as ultimately
this is about qualifications, also it may well be used like an accreditation
and also appear as a link on other sites to feed into their site. The visual
idea is simple and self evident. A mortar hat (a symbol of learning and
a students graduation) is made from two tile shapes one on top of the other.
It is simple and confident and gets the two elements of the business over,
that of tiling and learning in a straightforward use of relevant shapes.
The logo has to work across signage, vehicle liveries and on company clothing
as well as on their website.
