Although we can commission photography or source photographic library images, often visual imagery is best be depicted by using a bespoke illustration, to build a graphic theme around an illustrative style. An imaginative illustrator is not the same as a cartoonist. We can create simple line illustrations or highly technical drawings as we have for Edinburgh University or Nikon or themed as we do for Christmas e-cards.
Eye-catching icons can be illustrated for a logo, helping to differentiate the brand while setting the tone along with good typography and the right colour palette. It is a fundamental part of the art of communicative graphic design. The brand icon can be used as another piece of marketing collateral. We can also draw charts and graphs to assist in presentations or in literature.
